APP BOOK - The Little Red Book of Asia Young Designers is an annual book collecting young talents' artwork. 100 HK Designers will be picked out of all the applicants to show their work in this book!

and very happily, I am one of the selected designers!

The book will be published in late december this year and be found in Page One and 誠品書店 in Taiwan

Congrats to the fellow 99 designers who also got selected!

DETOUR 2009, organized by the Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design, bring us lots of excitements in many forms and many places.

The League of Justice

These little dudes are 3 inches tall, handmade by me with 100% Merino Wool. (Thanks Sheeps! mehh)
Each doll takes about 2-3 hrs to make.

Needle felting is sculpting fluffy wool with a special barbed needle. Hundreds of needle pokes go into each area which eventually tangles the wool together. It is a labor intensive art form that can not be rushed.

Everest of Apples is a charity run by foreigners in Aomori, Japan. Founded in 2002, it started as a vehicle to raise money for a rural community in Nepal whose students would otherwise have very few opportunities for education. Since then, E of A has seen great success there and is currently raising money to start a new project to help a community in Cambodia.
